Dr Lilac (yes, just like the flower!) is a senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Born in Israel, Lilach graduated from the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem in 2003 and completed her Obstetrician and Gynaecologist training in 2010. Dr Lilach, as she is usually called by her colleagues and patients, moved to Australia with her family in 2011.
She obtained her full Australian O&G Qualification in 2012, and is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Collage of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG)

Dr Lilach has admitting rights at both Tamara Private Hospital and Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital (TRRH) and provides Antenatal care for pregnant women through the public system in the clinics at TRRH.
Dr Lilach takes pride in a low surgical complications rate. She adheres to continuous strict audits and peer review processes and is a leading force in the implementation of bundle approach intervention for reduction of infection rates in major Gynaecological and Obstetric surgeries in Tamworth.
Lilach's dedication to medicine has seen her receive various industry awards, including an Excellence Award for infection prevention services in 2020 and receiving a nomination for an Excellence Award for Medical Services in 2018. In addition to this, Lilach played a major role in publishing a research paper in 2020 about reducing surgical site infections post-caesarean section using the bundled care approach.
